StGermaine.ca is a business, online marketing and social media blog that started in late 2008 by me – Ryan St Germaine. The blog began as a creative outlet to share strategies with entrepreneurs on how to promote themselves through online marketing and social media. It was also designed to test new marketing ideas that I can use on my other sites – BCjobs.ca, Thejobcentre.ca and Jobcast.net
Who am I?
I co-founded BC Jobs Online Inc. in 2001, a career portals technology company that owns BCjobs.ca and Albertajobcentre.ca. Since 2003, I’ve served as managing director of our company, responsible for corporate strategy, marketing, strategic partnerships, public relations and overall business development. Under my management, BC Jobs Online has grown to become the largest career site network in Western Canada. We have over 250,000 visits and over 1.8 million page views a month.
In my job I am sometimes a CEO, sometimes a sales guy, sometimes an online marketing guy, often a project manager and all of the time, a kid in a candy store. I love that my job is different every day and that my career websites help Canadian businesses grow and Canadians prosper.
