Your website is part of your brand. Make sure you own it! It is easy to use a custom URL on Blogger so there is no reason to be using companyname.blogspot.com for your web address. Make the web address www.companyname.com/ca/net/etc…If your company name is unavailable, get creative by adding something to the address.

When you own your web address, you can take it with you if you decide to change systems. If you use a Blogger address or another providers, you become tied to them because they own the URL.
