Add a WordPress site to Google Webmaster Tools

Google Webmaster Tools is a program used to gather information about your site’s visibility on Google. With it you can:

Learn how Google crawls your web pages and diagnose specific problems that Google is having accessing the site.
Discover how many external links are pointing to your website from other websites.
Learn more about your  internal links by seeing how many links within your own site are pointing to other pages on your site.
Learn what keywords Google is sending you traffic with and also where you rank for those keywords.

Create an XML sitemap for your WordPress blog

The easiest way to add an XML sitemap to WordPress is to use the Google XML Sitemaps plugin for WordPress.
Here are the steps to follow for installing and setting up your XML sitemap:
1) Login to your WordPress Admin account.
2) Click on the Add New link in the left hand column under the Appearance tab.

3) Search for Google XML Sitemaps.

4) Click the Install link located in the far right column titled Actions.

5) A window will pop up asking you to install the plugin. Click Install Now.

Adding Google Analytics to WordPress

Just as the title says: this post is about adding Google Analytics to your WordPress Site. With no further ado, here is how you do it.
