Do you want to tweet more while spending less time managing your Twitter account?
Twitter is a fantastic way to promote your blog and develop a network of readers. It’s also time consuming to send a steady flow of content to Twitter.
These seven tools are great time savers! With them, you can send Twitter updates, schedule your posts, and find new profiles to follow based on keywords.
TweetLater – Schedule tweets so your Twitter page is always updated, send auto-replies to new followers thanking them for following you, auto-follow profiles based on keyword and much more.
Twitterfeed – This application allows you to update your Twitter page using RSS. Just create an account, input your twitter login info, and submit an RSS feed from your blog. Every time you post new information on your blog, your Twitter account will get updated.
Adjix.com – Adjix has a tool called Adjix2Twitter that will shorten your URL and then post the shortened URL to Twitter with one click. Twitter any website you’re on in seconds. This site also has an affiliate marketing program (currently only available in the United States). Their model is quite ingenious. Twollow.com – This app lets you select keywords and auto-follow Twitter users who have those keywords in their tweets. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but when you add someone to your following list, they often follow you in turn.
TweetDeck – TweetDeck acts like a social media browser that you download onto your PC. From TweetDeck, you can manage your Facebook and Twitter account. If you’re an iPhone user, you can install TweetDeck directly onto your phone!
Not to fear Blackberry users, there are plenty of Twitter apps for you.
TwitterBerry – Send Twitter Updates directly from your Blackberry.
Tweetcaster – Send tweets from your Blackberry, find current trends and manage multiple accounts. (this is the Twitter Blackberry tool that I am currently using)
